The mission of the Office of Emergency Management is to lead and support the citizens of Bingham County in all aspects of disasters and emergencies, and it is something that I take very seriously. It is an honor and privilege to serve as the director.
We must commit to continually adapting to the ever-changing environment that effectively and efficiently protects the lives and property of Bingham County.
During the next several years, I look forward to familiarizing the community in the emergency management cycle. Plan, organize, train, exercise, evaluate, improve, and then begin the cycle again. Its purpose is to identify, improve, and refocus, on current and projected capability shortfalls and guide sustainable development to close those shortfalls. Allocating limited resources to enhance our strengths, while correcting our deficiencies, will be a challenge. However; I am confident that by working together, we will be able to meet those challenges.
