Beginning November 7, 2022 until March 6, 2023, the Bingham County Solid Waste Moreland Central Transfer Station will only accept loads of solid waste from commercial haulers during the following days and hours of operation:
Monday - Saturday - 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Holidays and Maintenance Days 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Bingham County Solid Waste Structure
With the opening of the new Central Transfer Station (CTS), on May 22, 2000, all household garbage in Bingham County will be disposed of at the new site located at 690 W Hwy 26, Blackfoot. All dumpster sites will be closed and removed after May 22, 2000. The Solid Waste fees currently collected on the property taxes will be reduced to reflect this change.
Bingham County will be implementing a program called "Pay As You Throw". This program will be fairer for the residents of Bingham County. There will be a tipping fee charged at the Central Transfer Station (CTS). (See Fee Schedule below.)
All municipal waste will go through the CTS. Construction and Demolition Waste (C & D) can be disposed at the Rattlesnake Transfer Site and/or the Aberdeen Site. There will also be Roll-ons at the CTS. See Items Permitted in C&D Sites.
Records will be kept on all vehicles coming in and going out of sites.

The Central Transfer Station transfers the Tier 1 and Tier 2 debris to an acceptable landfill and can only accept the following items:

This is a general list. Specific items may not qualify. If items are going to rot, leach or blow, they are not accepted. Contaminated loads will be considered household waste.
The following items are accepted at no charge at all 3 locations:

Dead animals are accepted at Rattlesnake Transfer Site ONLY. Hours of operation Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
